About Dr. Hummel Orthopaedic Surgery

When our patients have experienced a musculoskeletal injury or disease that compromises their ability to live their lives to the fullest extent, it is our goal to get them back to health quickly and safely.  Dr. Hummel and his staff are committed to providing excellent care to patients with compassion, understanding and respect.

Dr. Hummel takes great pride in providing a very personalized hand-on approach to patient care.  As a patient you will never find yourself in a situation dealing with numerous other people and never having the opportunity to see your doctor.  You will always have the opportunity to ask questions and be engaged in decisions about your care with Dr. Hummel.  In fact, Dr. Hummel is so hands-on that he prefers to change his patient’s bandages and surgical dressings himself.  He visits his patients post-operatively in the hospital and takes the time to talk with them and their family members.  In Dr. Hummel’s words, “patients come first all of the time.”

Please be sure to bring your insurance card with you at the time of your appointment. Co-pays are the patient's responsibility and must be paid at the time of service.  If you cannot provide us with your current insurance information at the time of service, you will be expected to pay for your visit.  We will provide a receipt, which is your responsibility to maintain as proof of any cash payments made to our office.
